They’re a good headphone as you would expect for the price. But I just feel like you’re paying the flagship tax. Otherwise, perfect comfort, perfect earpads (and quick swapping which most manufacturers fail utterly in reproducing). But yeah, $3,000 for headphones is just insane to me. This would’ve been unheard of a few years ago. The same is happening with IEM’s, all the while they come with cables used on IEM’s offered at $100 or less sometimes. The Empy’s are the only headphone I’d buy if I had to spend that kind of dough though, the build quality makes other headphones look like DIY nonsense in my opinion, relatively speaking.

It’s what happened in Portland, Austin, and many other cities around the country. It’s what’s happening in Detroit and Flint as well.
