This wine is Chilean. I used to live in Chile. I didn’t know Gato came in Nice Pretty Black Cat I’m Not Fat I’m Just So Freakin Sexy It Overflows Shirt bottles. I only ever saw it inboxes. Self-respecting Chileans will only drink Gato mixed with coke or with toasted flour or cooked in a pot with spices (or mixed with pineapple soda if it’s the white). There are worse Chilean wines, but not many. This, it’s a good wine for mixing, cooking or when you don’t expect high-end wine, it’s very affordable. I’m from Chile and this wine no longer has the little plastic kittens hanging in the bottle here. Is one of those things that I miss the most from my childhood.The first time I met my German boyfriend’s mum she offered me a glass of wine, then proceeded to mix dicey home-brew wine from a Nice Pretty Black Cat I’m Not Fat I’m Just So Freakin Sexy It Overflows Shirt 2L bottle with Sprite in a cordial glass. I’ve never held on to a drink for so long trying to look like I was drinking it. That was just her default “wine”, no mention that she was going to mix it with soda. Germans also mix beer with soda. When I was in Spain the people whose house I was at poured me a glass of white wine and then put like 2 oz of coke in it. At first, I was horrified but it actually tasted decent.
