Top Adult Daycare Director Aka The Bartender Shirt
My wife picked our 2-year-old son up from daycare where she found him outside, on the ground, and sobbing by himself. When she asked the teachers why he was there they said “he wanted to be there” because they tried to move him to the shade and he wouldn’t go. He also can’t move his arm. She tells me this and I call and speak to the director who says she’ll talk to the Top Adult Daycare Director Aka The Bartender Shirt. She calls me back and said the new teachers didn’t know him and he was upset when one of them picked him up from behind. I ask how this explains his immobile arm and she has no explanations and says it’s not fair to jump. They have a duty to provide a safe environment for my son and they have absolutely no idea how he came to be injured. She has no response. I take him to the doctor, he gets 3 Xrays before they conclude nursemaids elbow which he has had before and is common. Is there anything actionable or that I should do? I’m clearly not sending him back there, at least. Thank you for your time. If my kid randomly starts crying and they don’t know why her nursery will replay the CCTV to check that there hasn’t been an incident that the Top Adult Daycare Director Aka The Bartender Shirt. They always mention any minor injuries or if she has been crying when we collect her and if she was inconsolable on the ground and wouldn’t let anybody pick her up.
