China reacted more strongly than we could in N. America or Europe, and saved thousands of lives as a result. Korea’s infection rate is increasing again. Slightly. And China has locations that still have a high infection rate. There seem to be a few areas where the curve is starting to move up again. Yes! 16 million flu deaths this season compared to 4 thousand COVID-19 deaths. Every couple of years something new and scary crops up and every year we forget about the flu. Ok, but at least we have a vaccine for the flu and know how to Official I’m Not Sick I’m Twisted Sick Makes It Sound Like There’s A Cure Shirt tackle the symptoms. The same cant be said for covid19 right now.
The flu vaccine is a guess every year. Often times they choose the wrong strains to culture and mass produce and people get sick anyway. Plus not completely stabilized outside of Wuhan. We got a long way to go, the rest of the word. At least in S. Kr, there are way fewer people infected now. Other Asian countries like Vietnam have gotten it fully under control. I think it’s going to be a while before the USA gets it together. Think of it as endless short term memory, but unable to add to the long term. Or was the first job a great reason to move out because jobs weren’t promising?
