For the third movie that would be sick. The perspective of someone who suffered because of her, they explored this with Kristoff and the shop, of lives outside of the kingdom. Too bad the citizens are all NPCs and flat background characters. That would be great tho since Elsa isn’t a villain, but might be from another perspective. And with good reason. I heard she was supposed to be the villain, but “let it go” was so uplifting that they decided to change her character. If you look at the concept art you can kinda see that she looked more villain-like. It’s based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Ice Princess in which the ice princess was unambiguously the villain. For some reason, I remembered The Snow Queen as The Ice Princess. Mulan isn’t the best Disney Princess bc of her body count. She’s the best because she taught young girls that they are equal to their male counterparts. Every princess before her was more or less a damsel in distress, she blew gender norms out of the water. Nowadays female protagonists tend to be more badass then harmless and helpless. It doesn’t have sex scenes, but the Tower of God is full of overpowered Princess’s planning various schemes that range anywhere from instigating World Wars to simply accumulating more power. I get where you are coming from. Having said that, I found it personally refreshing to watch the typical love story become a back burner side quest and the true love story was between sisters all along. I also Nice Sorry Princess I Only Date Crack Whores 2020 Shirt enjoyed Elsa learning to appreciate herself for who she is and Anna’s learning she doesn’t need to jump into marriage to feel wanted. I was all for the sisterly bond and self-love.
