Personal comment here, partially speaking as myself and partially for some other mods, addressing the removals, especially the Official Black Lives Matter Stop Racism 2020 Shirt Jericho ones as that’s been the most contested of the various removals. Our current wrestling-related rules are bad, that much is obvious which is why the current stickied rules discussion thread has it changing. Had this thing occurred a week later, some not all but some of the posts would have been allowed to stand. The Original Jericho thread would have stood (given the backlash could be seen coming from a mile away) the Tony Khan black lives matter post would stand and the Orton black. lives matter post and response to someone would stand (though both would fall under the first thread posted).However we removed all the posts because our current rules said they shouldn’t be allowed, and it didn’t feel right to cherry-pick posts to allow under new rules when nothing else would operate as such until the 6th. We tend to not want our opinions to guide rules unless something is really close to the line (which is why the Batista news conference, promotions backing the movement and especially the Jericho sign were approved tbh) All this being said it’s become obvious shit is fucked and this is something that is Official Black Lives Matter Stop Racism 2020 Shirt being discussed in the wrestling industry. While at the end of the day Jericho being dumb isn’t likely to affect anything (given past track record) it probably should have a place to be discussed.

The creative economy (artists, entrepreneurs, craft makers, etc.) often flock to communities where it’s openly embraced and where the cost of living/doing business is low. It’s what happened in Portland, Austin, and many other cities around the country. It’s what’s happening in Detroit and Flint as well.
