Don’t get me wrong, I’m super happy that there are new computer systems being added, and particularly something as rare IRL as Sony NEWS, but… I’m kinda sad it’s a MIPS system that’s being emulated. The only version of NEWS-OS that is widely available is 4.2.1 which is for the Motorola 68000 based systems. And unlike AIX or even something rarer like Interactive UNIX, NEWS-OS rarely comes up for sale. Makes me sad I’ll likely never be able to use it.EPSXE was always my favorite go-to PSX emulator (I even bought it for my old Android phone). But there hasn’t been any movement on it in 4 years on Windows. And with PGXP working properly now, it’s all but a done deal as far as what to use. But I have found Retroarch to be…more…than I need. It is rather complex, and I miss the relative simplicity of EPSXE. In reality, my biggest problem is that cheats on RA are very hit-or-miss as to whether or not they’ll even work. EPSXE was a lot, and I mean a LOT, more hit than miss. I was thinking about this recently. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is one of my absolute favorite games of all time, but I never Nice Teacher Battery Summer Recharge Required Shirt owned it on Gamecube, only discovered it a couple of years ago through Dolphin. I’d put it in my top five all-time for sure.

Oh, it’s a whole fucking awful rabbit whole. There’s this whole subculture of people trying to basically rebrand and normalize pedophilia, using terms like MAP, saying they’re part of the LGBT crowd, that it’s just another type of sensuality and they’ve got their own version of a rainbow flag thing and junk.
